The Sparta Rod and Gun Club will sponsor a Disabled Deer Hunt on October 8 & 9, 2011. Potential hunters must complete an application and forward that application to the Sparta Rod and Gun Club. Application must be post marked not later than Monday, August 22, 2011.
General Information:
Disabled hunter must be able to shoot a firearm without assistance.
Must participate in a mandatory pre-hunt sight-in of firearm.
Hunt will classified as a Mentored Hunt if the disabled hunter selected does not have safety
certification and has never harvested a deer.
A Sparta Rod & Gun Club member will accompany/assist the disabled hunter at all times.
A firearm is available for use if needed.
